New York Jets @ New England – (Mon 5:00am)
It’s a simple equation for the Patriots – win over the Jets and they’ll secure the No.1 seed in the AFC. It’s hard to know the motivation for the Jets and they’ll be missing the likes of Muhammad Wilkerson and possibly Leonard Williams. Basically, the Patriots have more to play for and Tom Brady shouldn’t have too much pressure coming his way. The Jets are also without QB Josh McCown and will presumably rely on Bryce Petty which is an obvious downgrade. The Patriots are 7-1 ATS against a team with a losing record and should have too many points in them for their AFC East rivals.

Best: New England -15.5 ($1.91)

Carolina @ Atlanta – (Mon 8:25am)
It’s a must-win match-up for the Falcons as they look to secure a Wildcard berth in the NFC ahead of the Seattle Seahawks. The Panthers look the play getting the +4 start as the Falcons are not a four-point superior team despite the home advantage. There will be extra motivation for the Panthers in knowing that they can knock out a divisional opponent out of the playoff race. The return of linebacker Thomas Davis from a one week suspension will also give the Panthers a boost. The Falcons are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 17, while the Panthers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in Week 17. The Wolf can’t see anything more than a field goal deciding this huge NFC South clash.

Best: Carolina +4 ($1.91)
