Super Bowl LII Odds

The Wolf lays down his best on-field prop bets for Super Bowl LII.

BuildABet – Patriots win 1-13, Brady 2+ TDs & 250+ yards ($4.75)

Brandin Cooks – Total Receiving Yards 80 or More ($2.50)

Tom Brady Over 294.5 Passing Yards ($1.87)

Dion Lewis Under 53.5 Rushing Yards ($1.87)

The Eagles have the best run defence in the league, with 1093 rushing yards conceded from their 18 games including playoffs and have conceded just six touchdowns which is tied with the Cowboys and ironically the Patriots. So, The Wolf is expecting a quiet game from Dion Lewis and strong games from Tom Brady and Brandin Cooks. Brady has averaged 296 passing yards in his seven Super Bowls, while Cooks is coming off a 100-yard receiving game against the Jaguars in the AFC Championship last week. Cooks finished above 80+ receiving yards on seven times this occasion and should see plenty of the pigskin in Super Bowl LII.

BuildABet – A Flea Flicker Attempt In The Game ($3.75)
Both the Patriots and Eagles attempted a flea flicker in their respective Championship games and both had great success in doing so. Patriots running back James White flicked the ball back to Tom Brady who found Phillip Dorsett downfield for a massive play. Meanwhile, the Eagles went one better and scored a TD as a result of the flea flicker. Corey Clement shuffled the ball back to Eagles QB Nick Foles who threw a bomb downfield to find Torrey Smith for the TD early in the third quarter against the Vikings. The Wolf is expecting at least one side to try it again.

Danny Amendola Over 4.5 Receptions ($1.67)
Danny Amendola has been sensational in the playoffs and has become one of Brady’s favourite targets. Amendola had 11 receptions for 112 yards against the Titans in the Divisional Round and 7 receptions for 84 yards and 2 TDs in the AFC Championship win over the Jaguars. He should be able to bring in at least five receptions here to get the collect for the punters.

Patrick Chung Over 4.5 Total Tackles & Assists ($1.87)
Patriots safety Patrick Chung had an unhappy game against the Jaguars and was responsible for the TD to Jags TE Mercedes Lewis. Game flow could also force Eagles QB Nick Foles to throw the ball here and Chung will be one of his targets. Chung has had Over 4.5 tackles and assists in 11 of his 18 games this season including the playoffs.

Alshon Jeffery – Total Receptions – 5 or More ($2.30)
Alshon Jeffery had 5 receptions for 85 yards and 2 TDs in the NFC Championship win over the Vikings and should get a few chances downfield against the burnable Patriots secondary. Game flow could also help Jeffery’s reception total if the Patriots race out to an early lead.

Player To Commit First Turnover – Jay Ajayi ($8)
Nick Foles would seem like the obvious choice here, but The Wolf is going with Jay Ajayi. The former Dolphins running back has fumbled the ball four times this season and has fumbled twice in his past four games. Ball security looks an issue and you can bet that the Patriots defence will be targeting the ball. Looks over the odds at $8.

Under 3.5 Field Goals ($1.80)
Tom Brady is the masterĀ of turning most drives into TDs and keeping Stephen Gostkowski off the field other than XP attempts. Gostkowski has only had two field goal attempts in the playoffs to date, kicking one and missing one. Jake Elliott has been very good this season, but is still a rookie and is bound to feel the pressure of the Super Bowl. Game flow could see the Eagles have to go for it on 4th down hence keeping the total under 3.5 field goals.
