Super Bowl LII Novelty Props Preview

New England Patriots v Philadelphia Eagles
Monday, February 5, 10.30AM AEDT
U.S. Bank Stadium, Minnesota

The Wolf lays down his best novelty props for Monday’s big Super Bowl clash between the Patriots and Eagles.

Length of National Anthem – Over 121.5 Seconds ($1.60)
It took country music singer Luke Bryan 2 minutes and 4 seconds to sing the Star-Spangled Banner at last year’s Super Bowl. In fact, singers at the last three Super Bowls have gone over two minutes to sing the national anthem. Here are the previous results – Idina Menzel (2:04, Super Bowl 49), Lady Gaga (2:09, Super Bowl 50) and Luke Bryan (2:04, Super Bowl 51). It’s Pink’s stage and she’ll drag this one out!

Colour of Liquid Dumped on Winning Coach – Blue ($3.50)
The Wolf is expecting the Patriots to take out Super Bowl LII, and while head coach Bill Belichick doesn’t appear to be the type of man who would appreciate Gatorade being thrown on him (stayed dry following wins at Super Bowl 36, 38 and 51), it has happened before. Belichick was doused with blue Gatorade after the Super Bowl 49 win over the Seahawks and let’s go with blue again in Super Bowl 52.

Justin Timberlake’s First Song – Rock Your Body ($5.50)
Filthy is the current $2.65 favourite to be Justin Timberlake’s first song at Super Bowl LII, but The Wolf has his doubts. It’s a relative new song that not many would have heard yet and The Wolf is tipping he’ll lead with one of his classics to set the mood. Rock Your Body at $5.50 seems like the perfect song to kick off with just ahead of Can’t Stop The Feeling.

Will Pink wear a Philadelphia Eagles shirt or hat while singing the National Anthem – Yes ($3)
There’s every chance Pink plays this safe so she doesn’t get the Patriots fans off side, but there’s no questioning Pink’s excitement when the Eagles reached the Super Bowl. Worth a shot at the price. Represent Pink, represent!
