AFL Preview: Eagles v Crows

West Coast v Adelaide
Sunday 4:40pm at Domain Stadium
Best: Over 180.5 points ($1.88)
Prop: Rory Sloane 130+ Fantasy Points ($5.00)

The regular season could not finish on a much bigger note with West Coast needing to win – and by enough – to leapfrog Essendon into the Top 8 while Adelaide will potentially need a win to secure the minor premiership if GWS roll Geelong.

Form
West Coast are ninth on the ladder with an 11-10 record and outside the Top 8 on percentage alone. The Eagles rank ninth in scoring and seventh in defence. West Coast have not won or lost consecutive games since losing in Rounds 10-11. They enter this off a loss to GWS last week.

Adelaide sit atop the AFL ladder with a 15-5-1 record but will need to win to finish top if GWS defeat Geelong. The Crows have the best attack in the AFL while they rank fourth defensively. After going undefeated for seven weeks, Adelaide lost to Sydney last Friday at home in a classic. The Crows have kept opponents to 83 or fewer in nine of their last 13.

Betting Data
2017 Line: West Coast 9-12, Adelaide 14-7
2017 Over-Under: West Coast 9-12, Adelaide 9-12

What To Expect
Adelaide should prove too classy in this one but the top play is the over without question. The Crows are a huge over team interstate and even bigger when they were held to 80 or fewer the week prior. West Coast are a big over team as a home underdog.
